Trek Untold is the Star Trek podcast that goes beyond the stars! Each week, we chat with contributors to the Star Trek universe, ranging from people directly involved in the shows like actors, writers, directors, composers, and behind-the-scenes crew, and those who work in other areas like authors, historians, comic writers, artists and many more who left their mark in sci-fi history.

The show is hosted, produced, and edited by Matthew Kaplowitz. After attending a comic con, Matthew was inspired to start this podcast while wondering about the different stories from lesser-known celebrity guests. In May 2020, “Trek Untold” launched, focusing on the people who rarely get their moment to shine in the spotlight.

In addition to Trek Untold, Matthew runs Nerd News Today, a YouTube channel centered on his passion for toys, comics, movies, and other geeky things. He is also a contributor to Fatherly, writing about similar topics and a whole lot of Bluey!
